Don’t be 1 of these men

You regularly see ladies post on Twitter things like:

• ‘My time is chargeable, stop expecting free time!
• ‘So many time wasters, expecting my time for free.   I don’t work for free!’
• ‘If you are 10mins late for your booking, don’t expect to stay 10mins over time. Your bookings starts when you booked, not when you arrive late.”

Timewasters are the name we give tossers posing as prospective clients.  They ask for information clearly listed on your website or ad, ask for a discount on rates that are clearly listed as ‘non-negotiable’.  They harass you for extra services you don’t offer, naked selfies or videos made especially for them for free. Like, WTF??

Timewasters send dick pics; they make video calls so they can show us their penises. I am SO naughty when I get unsolicited “dick pics”. I presume if you are a reader of my blogs chances are you find my personality a little humorous and hopefully nice as well. So, I will share with you, my response. I did say I am naughty. It’s just so annoying when you are in the middle of something you get unrequested photos at inopportune times, like when you’re with your 9-year-old niece on a pony ride, as a true example. Garr. So, upon receiving such photo I will respond with: “did you just send me a photo of a child’s penis?”. And I will usually get: “WTF? No” to which I say: “It looks like a young boy’s penis, I’m reporting you” and proceed to block! I know, come on, it’s kind of funny. 😊

They also offer to be our friends or ask us on a date. Think, “Ohl if you ever need to talk, I will be here for you”. Like please. That is what our FRIENDS and FAMILY are for, not time wasters.

They waste our time for no good reason, expecting free labour. To say they are annoying is the understatement of the year. Yup, I am savage blocking them too.

Time is something that we charge for and nobody wants to work for free

These days some ladies offer things like paid snapchat, only fans etc to minimise the timewasters or at least get paid to deal with these guys 

I saw a tweet recently where a girl said clients should pay full fee if they cancel.  Fair enough, you can charge however you like as it’s your business. Run your business how it best works for you. And if you are male and reading this and haven’t been understanding in the past, perhaps the penny will drop.

Everyone dislikes “working” for free. Hence why it’s called work. No-one works if there is not monetary compensation. So, resist “getting in touch” until such a time that you are ready to pay for services (aka time)
